Our 5 Year Accidental Damage Warranty will provide you with peace of mind for when those common household accidents happen.

  • The warranty covers accidental stain damage from any foods and drinks, accidental damage such as rips, tears and burns along with structural defects.
  • When you have an accident, you simply visit www.myfurnitureinsurance.co.uk or call for further assistance. All they ask is that you help identify the stain.
  • There is no excess to pay or annual renewal costs.
  • Wherever possible the HFR network of expert furniture technicians and cleaning specialists will always try to repair the damage or remove the stain.
  • If a repair or stain removal is not possible HFR will source the brand new part to replace the item.
  • If the parts are no longer available HFR will replace the complete piece of furniture.

Detail of our 5 year Accidental Damage Warranty:

  • Anything you, family, friends or your pets can eat drink or pass .
  • Any products related to cooking, cleaning or cosmetics.
  • Paints, ink and glue (inc. superglue)
  • All drinks such as red wine & coffee
  • All foods such as curry & pizza
  • All human and animal bodily fluids, such as blood & vomit
  • All inks such as biro, felt tip & permanent marker
  • All paints such as oil & gloss
  • All make ups such as nail polish & lipstick
  • Any dye transfer as a result of clothing or newspaper print (not as a result of build up)
  • All oil based stains such as grease & tar
  • All Adhesives such as glue & superglue
  • All bleaches and other household cleaning products
  • Any dyes, acidic liquids such bleaches, caustic and corrosive substances as vinegar & lemon juice

  • Rips, tears, burns, scuffs, scratches and punctures. Accidental Damage includes damage caused by pets. Damage caused by pets (that is not extensive) is limited to three (3) claims during the period of insurance

  • Water, liquid or heat marks from items in normal household use
  • Breakage, dents, chips, scratches which have penetrated through the surface finish; or
  • Breakage, scratches and chips of glass or mirrors occurring during normal household use
  • Rips, tears, burns, scuffs, scratches and punctures. Accidental Damage includes damage caused by pets. Damage caused by pets (that is not extensive) is limited to three (3) claims during the period of insurance
